Richard S. Allen - Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Allen is responsible for the manufacturing division and staff functions of the company (finance, human resources and MIS). From 1979 to 1990 he was employed by GE Capital Corporation in various positions in the Corporate Finance Group. As a Managing Director, Mr. Allen has responsibility for lending and equity investments in its Northeast offices. During his GE tenure he was responsible for over $3 billion of investments. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Allen was Executive Vice President and a Director of London Fog Corporation where he was responsible for several operating divisions. From 1994 to 1997 Mr. Allen was a partner at Nantucket Holding Company where he was involved in acquisition, recapitalization and advisory activities. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he currently serves on the Alumni Economics Council.
Mr. Allen currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Special Olympics Connecticut.
Ed Jacquette - Vice President, Sales
Mr. Jacquette joined Custom Bottle in June, 2005 as Director of Business Development and was appointed Vice President of Sales for Custom Bottle Manufacturing in September, 2007. He is responsible for managing sales, marketing and account relationships for Custom Bottle manufactured products.
Mr. Jacquette has been in the packaging industry since 1977. Prior to joining Custom Bottle, Ed was Director of Marketing for Distributors at Alcan Packaging Plastics Americas, following 5 years at Gutmann Plastics and Ferdinand Gutmann/Penn Wheeling Closure. The first 21 years of his career, he was a Sales Representative/Branch Manager in Philadelphia for All-Pak, Inc., a leading nationwide Packaging Distributor. He graduated from Drexel University with a B.S in Business Administration.
William D Padgett – VP of Quality & Engineering
Mr. Padgett joined Custom Bottle in July of 2000 and over sees the Quality and Engineering departments and serves as an advisor to ownership on overall operations.
Mr. Padgett has been in Blow Molding since 1982 where he started as a Process Technician. He had several positions of increasing responsibility and has been in senior management positions for over 25 years. Mr. Padgett has run multiple facilities and has a strong hands-on background in Extrusion Blow Molding, Quality, GMP and Engineering. He has directed turn-around situations and facility start-ups. He also has experience in IBM, ISBM and Silkscreening.
Mr. Padgett is a former US Marine.
